Charles is passionate about helping clients develop personal investment objectives and creating an investment plan to match those objectives. Once a plan is in place, Charles excels at ongoing monitoring and reallocating in response to ever-changing economic conditions.
After graduating from the University of Alabama with a B.S. from the School of Business, with a concentration in Industrial Management/Management Science, Charles worked in the iron and steel foundry industry for ten years. In 1985, he moved to the Sandhills of North Carolina and began working for a large regional brokerage firm. Seven years later, the entrepreneurial spirit inspired him to establish his own practice. Since 1992, Charles has been a fully-licensed Independent Investment Advisor and continues to stay update-to-date and well educated with the dynamic financial system.
Charles' strength of character comes from life lessons he learned from family and those who care about him. "Do what's right even when no one is looking" is his personal mantra, and serves as a guiding principle to everything he does, professionally and personally. His favorite aspect of the business is the opportunity to work with philanthropic organizations, and the ability make a positive difference in the lives of each and every client. Outside the office, Charles can be found puttering around in the garden at home in Pinehurst as well as enjoying water sports with family on Lake Tillery.
